Important Dates
April 4, 2026 - Mail-in absentee request portal open
April 20, 2026 - Last day to register to vote for the primary
election
May 5, 2026 - Last day to request mail-in absentee ballot
May 14, 2026 - Early in-person absentee voting (Hours vary by county)
May 15, 2026 - Early in-person absentee voting (Hours vary by county)
May 16, 2026 - Early in-person absentee voting (Hours vary by county)
May 19, 2026 - 2026 Primary Election Day
Hours of Voting: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., prevailing time. At 6 p.m., the Precinct Sheriff goes to the end of the line and stays there until everyone in front of him/her has voted. Anyone in line by 6 p.m. is given the opportunity to vote
